Jovanny Orellana

Jovanny Orellana is a seasoned nonprofit executive and President of Latin Women’s Initiative, a volunteer-led nonprofit dedicated to empowering women and uplifting communities. With over 20 years of nonprofit experience, she has raised more than $133 million in capital and operating support, built 100+ corporate and community partnerships, and managed 70+ board members across Texas. A proud Mexican-American and first-generation graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, Jovanny is a recognized leader in campaign strategy, donor stewardship, event strategy, and Boards. She is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce, Latinos for Education, and a Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce alumna.

Eldon Lewis

Eldon Lewis is an accomplished fundraising and development leader with over 20 years of nonprofit experience and a proven history of securing major gifts, federal grants, and expanding funding pipelines for mission-driven organizations. Over his career, he has raised more than $150 million in capital and operating support. He serves on the board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Greater Houston Chapter, where he chairs the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access (IDEA) Committee. His prior leadership includes board service with the Grants Professionals Association Southeast Texas Chapter and the 100 Black Men of Metropolitan Houston. Eldon is a graduate of Leadership Houston Class XXXIX, a Senior Fellow of the American Leadership Forum (ALF) Class LXIII, and a graduate of the Houston Black Leadership Institute (HBLI) Class VII. He earned his Master of Public Administration from the Rutgers School of Public Affairs, graduating at the top of his class.
